   Integrating Advantage TPS into your CA-Clipper Applications

   Before integrating Advantage's TPS into your CA-Clipper application,
   you should define what warrants a "transaction" within the confines of
   your application. In general, if updates and appends involve multiple
   records in one or more tables, you should consider handling the
   appends and updates as one transaction. Because CA-Clipper provides
   much of the table locking and update flexibility to the programmer,
   there are certain factors to keep in mind when introducing the Advantage
   TPS into your applications.
