 The Blinker overlay area
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The size of the overlay area defaults to 40 Kb, but can be set at link time
with the BLINKER OVERLAY OPSIZE command, or adjusted at runtime using the
 BLINKER environment variable, e.g.

 SET BLINKER=/OO20

At link time Blinker displays the minimum possible value for the opsize,
which depends upon the size of the largest overlaid object module. For more
information on the overlay area, see the section earlier in this chapter.

 CA-Clipper 5.x note:

For a pure CA-Clipper 5.x application, the Blinker overlay area can be
eliminated completely by only overlaying CA-Clipper code and not modules
from EXTEND.LIB or CLIPPER.LIB. In this case the minimum and current opsize
message would not be displayed at link time, because CA-Clipper 5.x itself
handles the overlaying of CA-Clipper code in programs which are not
 incrementally linked.
