X-Hacker.org- The Guide to Clip-4-Win version 3.0 - Norton Guide http://www.X-Hacker.org [<<Previous Entry] [^^Up^^] [Next Entry>>] [Menu] [About The Guide]

Yes. Microsoft LINK and SLR Systems OPTLINK work well.

MS LINK 5.60 is included in the optional Clip-4-Win Toolkit.

Many people have a copy of Microsoft's LINK already (often without
realising it), from a product such as the C/C++ compiler, some
versions of Visual Basic, MASM, Pascal, Fortran, or possibly Quick
    C for Windows.

We recommend MS LINK 5.30 or later, although 5.15 appears ok. The
earlier LINK 5.10 also appears to work, but does not allow the .def
file to specify the EXETYPE WINDOWS 3.1 -- you need to remove the
3.1, and also run the supplied EXEMARK program after linking.

Note: LINK 5.50 and later are very fast!
