 8   Segment Locking

     From time to time, certain VM segments are locked by a subsystem.
     This prevents the VMM from moving or swapping those segments until the
     subsystem unlocks them.  This capability is used sparingly to keep the
     swap space from becoming cluttered with locked segments.
