   Managing data means adding, modifying and deleting data in the defined
   database, searching for it, or obtaining printed reports to display and
   summarise the information contained.

   The data management is generally done by one or more applications that
   access the database. The applications supply an interface to the database,
   offering a set of functionalities that allow the user a controlled access
   to the data, maintaining the data consistency (ex. new clients can be
   inserted, but clients who have one or more orders associated cannot be
   deleted).
