Allows to enter an expression to apply to all the fields that make up the
index. The "expression" field can contain, in addition to the expression
applied to the index, Clipper or user defined functions and memory
variables. By pressing the keys Alt-1 the user can select from a list
of already defined functions or variables or create new ones. Within this
field, the % character can be used. This character will be substituted
with the concatenation of the fields that make up the index.

Let's suppose that we want to create an index for the conversion into
capital letters of the concatenation of two fields and that this index is
to be constructed on fields Field1+Field2. By entering UPPER( % ) within
the "expression" field the final index will result in UPPER( Field1+Field2
). The character % (percent) therefore substitutes, in the expression
field, the sum of the index's fields.
