X-Hacker.org- dBsee 4.6 - The Library - Norton Guide http://www.X-Hacker.org [<<Previous Entry] [^^Up^^] [Next Entry>>] [Menu] [About The Guide]

During creation, dBsee assigns to the index, as default, the name of the
file to which it is associated, with the addition of a progressive number.
This name can be changed at any moment:

. Press the Dictionary button from the dBsee main menu.

. Use the arrow keys to select the file that contains the
index whose name is to be modified.

     . Press the Indexes button.

. Highlight the index desired and press the Ctrl-R keys.

     . Insert the new name.

. The check key, F9, determines, when pressed, the writing
of the modifications that would be made to the database after the
index name is changed within the file dBseeUpd.txt. This file will
be stored in the \BIN directory of the current application, and can be
freely consulted with any text editor. Note that the F9 key does
       NOT apply the changes.

. Press F10 to confirm the changes and the button Ok
to make the new name permanent.
