X-Hacker.org- dBsee 4.6 - The Library - Norton Guide http://www.X-Hacker.org [<<Previous Entry] [^^Up^^] [Next Entry>>] [Menu] [About The Guide]

Defines a menu label to which a data entry management can be associated.
The data entry types available are:

Single Page Allows to realise a data entry system made up of a
single Form object, with data entry on a single
                           file.

Invoice-like Allows to realise a data entry system made up of a
Form object, with data entry on two files in a 1:N
relation. The Form object contains controls that
allows data entry on the parent file. A ListBox
control is then used to display, in browse mode,
data from the associated child file. A second Form
object, called Edit Browse, is associated to the
Listbox and is called when Enter is pressed so
that the editing of the data displayed can take
                           place.

Multi-page Allows to realise a data entry system structured
on more than one screen page. The system is made
up of a single Form object with the possibility of
handling more than one screen page.

Browse Allows to realise a data entry system made up of a
single Browse object, with data coming from a
                           single file.

The definition of a data entry is described in detail in the paragraph
   entitled "Objects" of this chapter.
