   To insert a Replace transaction on an object, proceed as follows:

     . From the dBsee main menu select and press the Dictionary
       button.

     . Highlight the file that triggers the transaction process.
       This is the file that, if its contents is modified, will start the
       transaction process.

     . Press the Transactions button. A definition frame for
       the transactions is shown.

     . Press Ins to insert a new transaction. Select, from the
       shown list, the voice 1 - Directives for file positioning in REPLACE
       transaction. A definition frame will appear.

     . The SELECT option defines the target file that is to be
       updated in the transaction process (Use F7 to display the
       available files).
        The SET ORDER TO option defines the index order on the target
       file.
        The SEEK options defines the expression that is used to locate
       the right record in the target file.

     . Confirm the operation with F10.

   The definition frame for the Replace transaction will appear as shown in
   the figure:

   The user can define the parameters needed to effect a replace transaction.
   A transaction of this type is used to modify file records in relation to
   the main file.  This file is itself associated to the object on which the
   transaction has been defined.
