Besides fields (coming from files), expressions, or variables, the report
can contain statistical information computed before sending data to the
printer. For this purpose, specific elements called Computed variables
have been created allowing to obtain summary values for the inserted data.

The computed variables, usually utilised in the summary bands (footers),
can also be contained even in other parts of the defined report form.

To define a computed variables during design, the Alt-T and Ins
keys must be used. The Alt-0 keys displays the variables defined, that
can be loaded into the report by pressing Enter.

   The summary calculations available are:

     . Sum

     . Counter

     . Average

     . Variance

     . Standard Deviation

     . Minimum

     . Maximum

     . Range

For additional information about the computed variables, consult the
Design chapter, in the paragraph relative to computed variables
   controls.
