For the files that make up the virtual record, it is possible to define
the behaviour of the system (Recovery) when a search of a key returns a
negative response. For example, when the current client does not have any
invoices. The search for his/her first invoice will put the invoice header
file in a end-of-file situation (EOF), which means: not found. The
definition of the Recovery mode can be set among the properties of
each file included in the report management.

Note - system ignores the recovery mode set on the master file.

Different types of Recovery mode are available. They are:

Abort Aborts the report and stops printing.

Ignore The current file remains at EOF, print anyway. In
place of the data coming from the file in EOF an
empty value is printed. The Ignore mode is
usually used to print a record of a parent file to
which no record in the child file corresponds (ex.
a header without details or a client without
                           invoices).

Recover Tries to skip on the parent of the current file.
In this case, if the child file reaches EOF, the
virtual record does not get printed, but a skip is
performed on the parent file. This means that a
parent without children is not printed (ex. a
                           header without details).

In the Objects environment, the recovery mode is displayed besides the
   file name.

If the selected file is in a 1:N relation with the parent file, the mode
set by default is Recover. For files that have a 1:1 relation with the
parent file, the Recovery mode assigned by default is Ignore.

LookUp files can not be added to the virtual record. Fields coming from
such files can still be included in the report during design. Those files
will be, in fact, aligned automatically during the report phase.
