X-Hacker.org- dBsee 4.6 - The Library - Norton Guide http://www.X-Hacker.org [<<Previous Entry] [^^Up^^] [Next Entry>>] [Menu] [About The Guide]

dBsee gives the programmer the possibility to obtain a global view of all
the entities and objects that make up a project under development. The
Entity button accesses an environment displaying a list of all the
entities defined with an indication of where they are used.

This global view is useful when, during debugging, it is necessary to
modify only some parts of the project, obtaining access to each object
individually, outside the actual context in which they were created.

The system displays all the elements that make up the entire application
grouped according to their types. The different elements can be consulted
by selecting the relative group to which they belong.

For each entity type, new objects can be created (free objects; objects
not yet used in the application) that can be successively associated to
   and used within the application.

A LED, put at the left side of the object's name, indicates that the
entity has been changed since its last generation, and must be generated
in order to make the final application reflect the modifications made.
