X-Hacker.org- dBsee 4.6 - The Library - Norton Guide http://www.X-Hacker.org [<<Previous Entry] [^^Up^^] [Next Entry>>] [Menu] [About The Guide]

The sub-projects defined have the database structure (file, fields,
indexes, etc.) in common. To each sub-project will be associate a start up
object, to which menu labels for the complete management of the entire
sub-project, will be appended. The dBstart.ini file, in which are
memorised all the informations relative to the application interface, will
be common for all the sub-projects.

The dBstart.INI file can be adapted and customised, changing the internal
parameters. The application can also be set to use a different
configuration file for each sub-project. Additional information can be
found in chapter The generated application.

For each sub-project, a different type of make, linker and compiler can be
defined, a mode of generation (single-user or multi-user), if activate the
   password management, etc.

The Subprojects button allows to display a mask listing all the
sub-projects created for the current project. Thanks to a button menu, it
is possible to set the parameters relative to the make and link script
file, and the global properties of the current application.

Pressing the Space Bar on a sub-project will activate the Sub-project
Fact Sheet allowing to display and modify some of the details set for the
   current sub-project.

The Ins key allows to define a new Sub-project. Information regarding
the Name and Description of the new module, the programmer's name, the
begin date and last modification date of the sub-project and the name of
the startup and closing object will be asked for. The F7 key allows
the selection of the defined objects.

This mask contains information relative to the sub-project selected from
   the list.
