                         -=*> BROWSE Object <*=-

The Browse object manages a window with vertical and horizontal
scroll bars with a list ordered data.

An object of Browse type is used each time it is necessary to
interact with the information that is organized in a tabular format.

For instance if it is desired to display the content of a file through
the use of a Browse object, each line corresponds to an individual
record of the file, while the columns correspond to the fields of the file.

In the definition of a new Browse object, the system will ask
if you want to join the object with a relationship of 1:N in which the file
associate to the Browse is the child file (N) of the relationship. This
result is useful when the Browse object is not the only object of the system
of data entry, but becomes utilized in the cycle of a data entry on the
parent file of the relationship. For example consider the management of
Beads in which a button, present on the Form object that manages
the relative entry for the Heading of the Bead (BolH files), this allows
a call to the Browse object with which the management of data entry
on the lines of detail of the bead (BolR file).

The interaction with the user is analogous with the Browse object used for
a list box in characteristics and functionality.
Thus in order to use this type of columns it could be contained in a Browse
object. For information on design for the object, refer to the Design
paragraph for the specification of design for control of a List Box.
