X-Hacker.org- dBsee 4.6 - The Library - Norton Guide http://www.X-Hacker.org [<<Previous Entry] [^^Up^^] [Next Entry>>] [Menu] [About The Guide]

The dBsee development environment can be installed on any Personal
Computer with a 386 or higher CPU, VGA color adapter, running DOS 5.0 (or
higher) operating system and having a hard disk with at least 12Mb of
available space. Additional space is needed in order to decompress the
supplied example files. dBsee needs 580Kb of free RAM when loading.

For compiling, CA-Clipper Compiler version 5.2 (rev D or higher) is
needed. The make utility and linker are supplied directly with CA-Clipper
(.RMake and .RTLink). It is strongly advised to purchase a protected-mode
linker, such as Exospace (form CA), BLinker (from Blink Inc.) or CauseWay
(from Michael Devore), which notably increase the performances of the
   application.
