  Installing Expert Help:

Expert Help can be installed and run in any drive or directory.

Place the Expert Help System Disk into drive A and type,

                       A:INSTALL (press enter)

During the installation process, follow the instructions on your monitor.

    Items to consider after installation:

    Environment Variables:
Environment variables are instructions that are executed when
your computer boots itself. The two variables that Expert Help
uses are to be placed in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file that is located
in your root directory (usually the C drive). These variables are
provided for your convenience and are not required for Expert Help
       to operate properly.

       The first variable is;

                SET EHINI=<path>

This variable lets the Expert Help Engine know where to look for
its configuration, help file list and screen swap files. This is
desirable in situations such as network use where you would want
to have separate configuration files for each user on the network.

       Example:
If your Expert Help Engine (EH.EXE) is on drive C and your
configuration files are to be kept in D:\CONFIG. You would add
the following line to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.

                SET EHINI=D:\CONFIG

       The second variable is;

                SET EHFILES=<path;path>

This variable lets the Expert Help Engine know where to look for its
help files. The help files can be kept on any drive and in any
directory. Determine the directories where your (.NG) help files are
located in and add a line to your AUTOEXEC.BAT that is similar to
       the one below:

       Example:
          SET EHFILES=C:\NG;C:\CLIP52;D:\F2

Note: The directories are separated by a semi-colon.

Expert Help will collect files in the following manner:

           1. All help files located in the SET EHFILES=<paths>.

           2. All files from the home directory where the Expert Help
              Engine is located.

       Note on variables:
The Expert Help environment variables are read once at the
time Expert Help is loaded into memory. If you change a variable
you must also unload and reload Expert Help in order for the
          changes to take effect.
