 ptrtoint() Read an int value from a memory address
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Declaration
   memory.hdr

 Syntax
   func int ptrtoint extern
   param value _POINTER pMem

 Arguments
   pMem is a memory address.

 Return
   An int value.

 Description
   This function returns the int located at the specified memory address.

   The function is included for compatibility with earlier Force versions.
   Use the ptr() data type in conjunction with the & and * operators for
   directly writing to explicit memory addresses.

 Example
   #define EXAMPLE_MEMORY
   #include example.hdr

   proc Test_ptrtoint
   vardef
      int        iVar
      ptr( int ) pMem
   enddef
   iVar := 30000
   ? iVar // access int variable directly
   ? ptrtoint( addr( iVar ) ) // access int variable using function calls
   pMem := &iVar // access int variable using pointer
   ? *pMem
   endproc

   proc main
   Test_ptrtoint()
   endproc
