     This keyword defines "semaphore"  files, for use with  other mailer
     and/or mail processing software.

     The <type> can be one of the following:

         NETSCAN     Empty netmail scan file (for D'Bridge/FD).
         ECHOSCAN    Empty echomail scan file (for D'Bridge).
         EXPORTLIST  Echoid-list of your new messages.
         IMPORTLIST  Echoid-list of new imported messages.

     The  semaphore  files  are  placed  in  the AREAPATH, if no path is
     specified.
