LABEL            Create Variable or Label                           Directive

  name      LABEL     type

    Creates a new variable or label, assigning the current location counter
    to it. In TASM Ideal mode, the name of the label comes after the keyword
    LABEL, like this: LABEL name type.

       Notes:     Name must not be previously defined.

                  Type may be BYTE, WORD, DWORD, QWORD, TBYTE, NEAR, FAR,
                  or the name of a valid structure type.

  -------------------------------- Example ---------------------------------

           BYTE_BUFFER    LABEL     BYTE
           WORD_BUFFER    DW        512 dup (?)

    The 1024-byte (512 words) buffer can be addressed as a 512-byte WORD
    buffer using WORD_BUFFER or a 1024-byte BYTE buffer using BYTE_BUFFER.
