 _fstrncmp()             Compare n Characters (Model Independent)

    This is the model independent version of strncmp(); it compares
    the first count characters of string1 to string2, returning
    a value as shown below. See strncmp() for more information.

    Returns:    * A negative value if string1 < string2.
                * 0 if string1 = string2.
                * A positive value if string1 > string2.

 Portability:   Not supported by the ANSI standard.
