X-Hacker.org- NetLib for Clipper, Version 6.0 - <u>you can determine the maximum size of the setup string more </u> http://www.X-Hacker.org [<<Previous Entry] [^^Up^^] [Next Entry>>] [Menu] [About The Guide]
You can determine the maximum size of the setup string more
efficiently by calling N_CAPGET(). Though superseded, N_SPLSETSZ()
has been retained in the library to maintain compatibility with
earlier versions of NetLib. Future versions may not retain
N_SPLSETSZ(), so please take this opportunity to begin using the new
function in your code.

Syntax

N_SPLSETSZ()

Returns

Maximum size, in bytes, of the printer initialization (setup) buffer.

Description

This function is normally used before N_SPLSETUP().
