   [  Overview  ]

   The NGX.INI file is a text file used to configure NGX (hotkey, NG direc-
   tory, memory, video, start options, looks). Use a text editor to create
   or modify it and keep it in the directory where NGX.COM is. To make .ini
   file changes effective, you must remove NGX from memory (uninstall) and
   then re-run (reinstall) it.

   While it is possible to customize NGX in details, you may find the de-
   fault settings satisfactory. As a minimum, NGX will need to know where
   to find your database files (keyword NGdir).

   A few keywords are marked with a warning: [* CAUTION *]. It is fair to
   mention that using these requires technical insight or is considered bad
   practice. It does, however, tend to make life easier.

   ; Sample NGX.INI file
   NGdir  = c:\nguides                 ; Directory of *.NG
   Hotkey = Sh-F2                      ; Activate with Shift-F2
   QuickScan = enabled ; Fast scan for database files
   BufferSize = 13000 ; 4.3 kb memory less than default
   MenusSize  = 1000                   ; 0.5 kb -
   MaxWindowRows = 34                  ; 1.4 kb -
