 SPX communications

 The SPX protocol is a connection oriented protocol. Prior to sending data,
 the communicating workstations must establish a connection. Delivery of
 packets is guaranteed when using SPX, as is packet sequencing (packets are
 received in the order they were sent).
 Due to the overheads of guaranteed delivery, SPX is slower than IPX.
