               -K      Purge messages

                       This option purges messages according to the
                       maximum  number  of   messages   and   aging
                       information  specified  for  each   area  in
                       MESSAGES.RA. Note  that the messages are not
                       actually removed, they are simply marked for
                       deletion.  Use the  pack command  to reclaim
                       the space that these messages occupy.
