Convert a Targa image to a TIFF image


Syntax

TGA2TIF <cINFILE.TGA> <cOUTFILE.TIF>


Arguments

<cINFILE.TGA>
The Targa image to convert to TIFF.

<cOUTFILE.TIF>
The TIFF image file in which to save the converted image.


Remarks

TGA2TIF is a conversion utility to convert 32-, 24-, 16-, or 8-bit Targa 
compressed or uncompressed formats to TIFF 5.0 under the following 
circumstances. It will always make the output file, TIFF 5.0, uncompressed 
(for TIFF 4.2 support, use Convert). TIFF compressed formats are currently 
not supported with this utility. The following conversion rules apply. All 
8-bit Targas are converted to 8-bit TIFF 5.0 color mapped uncompressed 
format. All 16-, 24-, and 32-bit Targas are converted to TIFF 5.0, 
interleaved RGB uncompressed format. TIFF 5.0, RGB planar format is not 
supported in this utility. This is a file-to-file conversion that requires 
no screen memory/grabbing.
