Wait state 


   A mode that fetches keys from the keyboard buffer and also executes
   SET KEY procedures.  These include the following:

      . ACCEPT
      . ACHOICE()
      . DBEDIT()
      . INPUT
      . MEMOEDIT()
      . MENU TO
      . READ
      . WAIT


   Note: INKEY() and NEXTKEY() fetch keys from the keyboard buffer
   but are not wait states.
