 THE XMODEM-1K (YMODEM) PROTOCOL

 This is a small variation of XMODEM that uses
 blocks that are 1 Kilobyte (1024 bytes) in size. This protocol
 is still mistakenly called 'Ymodem' by many programs, but peo-
 ple are gradually moving over to the proper name.
