X-Hacker.org- Warplink version 2.6 - /clp5[:
] overlay clipper 5.0x compiled clipper.lib modules http://www.X-Hacker.org [<<Previous Entry] [^^Up^^] [Next Entry>>] [Menu] [About The Guide]
/clp5[:
] Overlay clipper 5.0x compiled CLIPPER.LIB modules
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Syntax:

WARPLINK /clp5:[Clipper library name]

Description:

The /clp5 option instructs WarpLink to automatically overlay selected
portions of the clipper.lib library for CA-Clipper version 5.nn. These
include all modules that contain compiled CA-Clipper code. Using this
option can reduce memory usage by 20-40K in addition to the savings
created from overlaid CA-Clipper.lib modules written in C and assembly
language that are explicitly overlaid via direct library module
specifications.

If the CA-Clipper library has been renamed, name is the new library
name that contains the overlaid CA-Clipper compiled modules. It is an
optional parameter but you must precede it by a colon if used.

the /clp5 option must come before the library list on the WarpLink command
line, otherwise a internal error is reported.

CLIPPER.LIB must be explicitly specified in the library list. In other
words, if you use the /clp5 option and CLIPPER.LIB is specified implicitly
through the default libraries, WarpLink will fail with an internal error.

The /clp5 option also works with CA-Clipper Summer '87, but this option
will only overlay the ERRORSYS module yielding a savings of 2K.
