 System Requirements
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following is a list of the system specifications that are required
     to install and run CA-Clipper/ExoSpace:

. An IBM AT, PS/2 or compatible computer, incorporating an Intel
        80286, 386, 486 or compatible CPU

Note: CA-Clipper/ExoSpace works on all IBM PC/AT-compatible
computers. There are, however, some machines that claim AT
compatibility, but fail in certain important respects--an 80286 CPU
does not make a machine compatible. The Basic Input/Output System
(BIOS) code must also be compatible.

. At least one floppy disk drive

. A hard disk with 1.5 MB free disk space for installation

. At least 1.5 MB of RAM should be available when
CA-Clipper/ExoSpace or a CA-Clipper/ExoSpace application is run. At
least 256 KB of this should be conventional memory.

MS-DOS Version 3.0 or later, and compatibles, including DR-DOS 3.0 or
later and the Virtual DOS Machine within OS/2 Version 2.0 or later.

An installed copy of CA-Clipper, Version 5.01 or later

Note: You may also want to review Appendix A, "Environment
     Compatibility Issues."
