   inline

The inline specifier is only a hint to the compiler. It does NOT
affect the meaning of a program and it may thus be ignored.

It indicates that inline substitution of the function body is to be
preferred to the usual function call implementation.

A function defined within the declaration of a class is "inline" by
   default.
