printf

Usage

   #include <stdio.h>
   int printf(const char *format,...);

   ANSI

Description

   printf is the formatted print routine, it writes its characters to
   stdout. Arguments are interpreted according to the zero terminated format
   string. The format string is a sequence of characters with embedded
   conversion commands. Characters that are not part of the conversion
   command are output. For a full list of the conversion commands refer to
   the entry for fprintf.

Example 

   See fprintf

Return Value

   Returns the number of characters written. If an output error occurred,
   then a negative integer is returned.
