 AX_IndexCount()
 Number of index files open in work area
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 Syntax

     AX_IndexCount() -> numeric

 Returns

     A numeric value representing the number of index files open in the
     current work area. If no index files are open, a zero is returned.

 Description

     AX_IndexCount() determines the number of index files that are open
     in the current work area. Each work area can contain different index
     types: .ntx indexes, or .idx, .cdx and structural .cdx indexes.
     All indexes in the work area are counted.

 Example

     // Assume that TEST.DBF also has a structural index (TEST.CDX)
     USE TEST via "DBFCDXAX" // Open TEST.DBF and TEST.CDX

     ? AX_IndexCount()             // Returns 1

     // Also open NAME.IDX and ZIP.IDX
     SET INDEX TO name, zip

     ? AX_IndexCount()             // Returns 3

     SET INDEX TO // Close all indexes except TEST.CDX

     ? AX_IndexCount()             // Returns 1
