copy ([append])

     Usage: Copies the marked area to scrap.  Optionally appends the
            new text rather than replacing it.

Parameters: Append .int. is non-0 if text should be appended to
            the scrap buffer. If append is 0 or omitted, the marked
            text replaces the contents of the scrap buffer.

   Returns: 1 for success, 0 for failure
