X-Hacker.org- dBsee 4.6 - The Library - Norton Guide http://www.X-Hacker.org [<<Previous Entry] [^^Up^^] [Next Entry>>] [Menu] [About The Guide]

One of the features of dBsee is allowing a global configuration of a color
palette valid for the entire project (i.e. all subprojects). During the
design phase, each element (control) can be associated to one the colors
   available in the color palette.

The global color configuration is accessed in the Service/Desktop
environment, by selecting the Palette button. In this environment, it
is possible to modify each of the 16 Clipper colors, by setting a
combination of Red, Green and Blue (RGB).

By pressing Alt-C on the object or on one of the controls will open a
color chart, with which it is possible to associate one of the 16 colors
to either the foreground or background of the components (prompt, data,
hot-key) that make up the element. The color can also be associated using
the Ctrl-Enter key, and varying the values in the color section.
