Files are created in the main Dictionary environment:

. Access the Dictionary environment by pressing the
relative button from the dBsee main menu.

. Press the Ins key to insert.

. Insert the alias name. The name can be made up of a maximum
of 7 characters and can consist of letters from A to Z, numbers from 1
to 9 and the "_" character. The name of the file cannot start with a
       number.

. Enter a brief description of the file that will help
identify the contents, and will be used in the documentation.

. Enter the file type. The types accepted are Standard
       files or dBsee Table files.

. The physical name can be omitted. In this case, the name
entered for the alias will be the physical name. The physical name is
the name used on disk, the alias is the name with which the file is
referenced inside the application. With table files, the physical name
is ignored since all the files of this type are saved within a single,
physical file. In fact, this field can not be edited.

. Press the Options button with the Enter key. The
options available can be modified if desired. For files, it is
possible to set the opening mode, the logical file path, the used RDD,
and optionally to use the slot, entering information on the file not
       expected by the system.

. Press Esc to exit from the Options frame

. Press F10 to confirm the creation of the file
