   tp_outchrs() - get number of characters in output buffer

   nChars := tp_outchrs(nPort)

   nPort       Serial port number.

   Returns     Number of character in the output buffer.

   Returns the number of characters waiting in the output buffer.  The
   name of this function is tp_outchrs(), not tp_outchars().  The reason
   is explained in the reference for tp_inchrs().

   Example:

       ? tp_outchrs(1)
