                GETTABLE gt;     get table to initialize from
                COUNT displaytoo; TRUE to show fld on screen

description  for all pending gets in the get table, takes the
           real data item and loads it into the temp edit
           buffer for that field. Optionally displays at
           proper row/col as it goes.
