Capture a Targa image file from video on a Truevision Targa 16


Syntax

TARGA16 [<switches>] <cFILENAME.TGA>


Switch

/rgb
Set RGB camera. Default is NTSC camera.

/load
Load <cFILENAME.TGA>. Default is to save.

/compress
Compress output Targa file.

/h<n>
Set hue to <n> (0 - 31).

/s<n>
Set saturation to <n> (0 - 31).

/k<n>
Set contrast to <n> (0 - 31).

/w<x>,<y>,<w>,<h>
Set capture window in pixels:
<x> is the x origin (default 0)
<y> is the y origin (default 0)
<w> is the width (default 512)
<h> is the height (default 400)

/o<x>,<y>,<w>,<h>
Set output window in pixels:
<x> is the x origin (default 0)
<y> is the y origin (default 0)
<w> is the width (default 512)
<h> is the height (default 400)


Arguments

<cFILENAME.TGA>
The Targa image file to save the captured video to.


Remarks

This is a driver for a Truevision Targa 16 image capture board. It captures 
an NTSC Composite or RGB video image from a video camera, Canon Xapshot 
Electronic Still Imaging camera, VHS VCR, or other video sources through a 
Targa16 image capture board. Targa16 saves to a Targa 16 image file with 
user defined parameters.


Example

To capture an NTSC video input with the Targa16 to a color 16-bit Targa 
image, BHOUSE.TGA, 512x480:

TARGA16 /W0,0,512,480 /O0,0,512,480 BHOUSE.TGA
